History
The chapel originally started from an existing church in Milford. Around 1983, six families felt led to leave the existing church due to its denomination using resources to support military endeavors in other countries and set out to start LMC.
In the Summer of that year, the families met at the Steeleās (one of the families') pond which is about a mile behind the future location of the chapel. Initially, the small group met on Sunday mornings in the basement of the home of Les Strickler Sr. beside the Milford Motel. It was during this time that this small fellowship decided to join the C&MA because of the strong focus on missions. The group grew too large for the meeting place, and the small church moved to the Old Milford Borough Hall, then to Forest Hall in Milford. The following year, the first Senior Pastor was named, Michael Noel and his wife Karen.
In the fall of 1985, construction began on what is presently the chapel, and a dedication service was held on October 27th.
Over the past two decades, the chapel has been through a few Pastoral transitions, the most recent being Pastor Shawn Coleman and his wife Theresa, along with their three children: Gabriel, Rachel, and Sammy. Pastor Shawn's heartbeat is to see God's people grow.
Now, the chapel has grown into a new era, and a new name was given to better befit its long running mission of bringing people into a loving and living relationship with Jesus Christ and His family.
